Contessa is an adorable big mare. She has a super sweet personality, good manners, and is sound with no vices. She is a very easy keeper and is barefoot with great feet. Tessa is the ultimate foxhunter/ paperchase/ trail / pleasure mount. She loves to be out cross country whether it be out on a leasurley walk, or out on a hack with friends. She has started hound jogging with Cheshire Hunt and will be ready to hunt no problem in the fall. She is very comfortable to ride walk/trot/canter, and is very quiet. She prefers to take it easy, and is usually in the back on the trail..and does not mind getting left behind or waiting. She will lead if neccessary. Crosses water, jumps logs/ ditches and is super careful and brave through new terrain. Her ring skills are coming along nicely and she has a good work ethic. She is jumping 2'6" easily over stadium fences, and out cross country and loves to jump. Rides in a rubber snaffle and has a light mouth. Tessa is big and sturdy enough for a mans hunt horse, but is also easy enough for a lady to ride. She is currently ridden by teens and adult amatuers. Good home is a must for this sweet girl! $8500
